President’s Message

A Message from the President

As we close out another snowmobile season here in the Pontiac, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has truly been a remarkable year and to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who came out to ride with us this winter.

What a season it was. The snow came early, it came often, and it delivered the kind of riding conditions that remind us all why we love this sport. Our groomers worked tirelessly through long nights to keep the trails in top shape, our volunteers showed up week after week, and our members, both new and returning, made this community what it is. For all of that, I am deeply grateful.

Of course, no season comes without its challenges, and this year our community was touched by profound sadness. We lost two of our fellow riders on the trails this winter. These were not just statistics; they were members of our snowmobile family, and their loss has been felt deeply by all of us. To their families and loved ones, please know that our entire club holds you in our hearts. We grieve alongside you, and we carry their memory with us as we look ahead.

Their passing is also a reminder to each of us of the responsibility we carry every time we head out on the trails. Ride within your limits, respect the conditions, and look out for one another. That sense of community and mutual care is what makes the Pontiac special.

To our landowners, our volunteers, our groomers, our sponsors, and every rider who chose to spend part of their winter with us, thank you. This club exists because of you, and it is a privilege to serve as your President.

Here’s to a safe and well-deserved off-season, and we look forward to seeing you all back on the trails next winter.

Ride safe, ride smart, and take care of each other.
