Trail Passes

Your trail permit is your ticket to over 30,000 kilometres of snowmobile trails across Quebec, and purchasing one is both a legal requirement and a direct investment in the trails you ride. Every permit sold puts money back into the hands of local clubs, helping to cover the significant costs of trail maintenance, grooming, signage, and infrastructure. When you buy your annual permit during presale, the majority of that money goes straight to your home club.

Along with trail access, your permit includes a free subscription to Motoneige Quebec magazine and mandatory civil liability insurance coverage of $1,000,000 through Intact Insurance, one of the most competitively priced packages available anywhere. If you already carry your own liability insurance, a permit without insurance is available, however please note that a verification and handling fee applies and you should allow up to 21 days for processing. You are not permitted to ride on FCMQ trails until your permit and sticker have been received and affixed to your snowmobile.

For those visiting the province, daily trail permits are available for periods of one, two, three, five, or seven consecutive days. Each daily permit includes the same $1,000,000 civil liability coverage and makes you an official FCMQ member for the duration of your stay.

Your permit consists of a sticker, which must be affixed to the left side of the cab, and a member copy receipt. Both must be with you on every ride, as either can be requested during a trail check. The permit is personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable, though it can be moved from one snowmobile to another under the same owner if needed. Replacements can be arranged through the FCMQ online platform.

All permits are purchased exclusively online through the FCMQ platform. For rental trail permits, please contact the FCMQ directly.

Service hours are :
